Kim Anthony Jones (Kip), Board Member

Kim Anthony Jones, a\k\a Kip a second generation member, and director of the world renowned King Charles Unicycle Troupe who originated from New York City and made its debut as the first all-black group to perform with Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus in 1969.

It was love at first sight, Kip saw the ensemble of one-wheelers in action at the age 15 years old – displaying their high-energy basketball on unicycles inside a Gymnasium and he’s been a member ever since.

The Troupe now in its 5th generation continuing the legacy of its founder, Jerry King ideas  and  achievements both in the circus community and in the African-American community by “Building Character on Wheels” in under privilege communities.
