Ted McRae, Ringmaster
Ted McRae’s circus journey began in 1994 with UniverSoul Circus, where he rose from forklift driver in Baltimore to performing in the ring with lions and tigers. He went on to tour Canada with Tarzan Zerbini Circus and later performed with lions and tigers on the Clyde Beatty Cole Brothers Circus. Ted then joined Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey’s 132nd Edition as “T.M. the Gator Guy,” captivating audiences with daring alligator and snake acts. He continued with Ringling’s celebrated Hometown Edition, expanding his role as both performer and Ringmaster. From there, Ted became Ringmaster with Circus Vargas in California before lending his voice and presence to Shrine Circuses across the Carolinas, the Dakotas, Canada, Maine, and beyond. Most recently, he served as the voice announcer for Puppy Pals Live Presents the Dog Days of Summer at Stone Mountain Park in Georgia. Today, Ted is proud to bring his charisma, showmanship, and decades of experience to Omnium Circus, the world’s most inclusive circus.
