Steve Mendelsohn , CFO

Steve has a diverse background in both corporate and non-profit organizations.  After studying business at The Wharton School he received his MBA at Harvard Business School.  He worked in marketing at American Express and was a General Manager at Razorfish (internet design company).  Wanting to have a greater impact, he switched into non-profit leadership roles where he ran media organizations (including Project Rebirth, which created the Peabody Award winning documentary “Rebirth”), human rights NGO’s (including FilmAid, which uses film to help East African refugees in Kenya), and youth non-profits (including The Trevor Project, which works to prevent suicide among LGBTQ youth).   Steve also served as the Board Chair and Treasurer for over 10 years at NewFest, NYC’s LGBTQ film festival.
