Joseph M. Lara is the Founder and Managing Director of The Knowledge Exchange, one of the fastest growing, invitation-only, trade showcases for the meetings and events industry. An entrepreneur by nature, Joe is a marketing and sales focused executive, who has been at the forefront of innovative strategies and solutions for over 20 years.

He is also the Executive Producer and Creator of “Mission Critical”, the history-making and most widely viewed virtual telecast in the meetings and events industryFollowed by every major global orginzation from Goldman Sachs, Coca-Cola, WalMart and Microsoft, to NASA and the NAACP, The transformative web-based series has drawn an unprecedented live and on-demand audience of over 12,000 senior-level meeting and event professionals and over 100,000 web impressions. 

Joe has also independently produced or directed a wide variety of programs with companies including The Dana Farber Cancer Institute, The World Childhood Foundation, and a Global Salute To the Troops with the Big Apple Circus, The USO and the Department of Defense. 

Married with twin boys, Joe resides with his wife in the New York Metro area.
